Get Your Summer Tan!
Happy Tuesday Cali! Its a beautiful day I hope everyone had a great weekend. I love the summer its a great time to have some color - a tan that is. But we all know that sun is not great for your skin, that is why here at the Argyle we have a unique organic spray tan. I love the technique by which it is applied. The simple pleasures are the most deserved, like a relaxing spa day at celeb fave Argyle salon in West Hollywood!
I know everyone has a case of the sads because of the economy. But, I mean come on. There’s a difference between being frugal and becoming a shut in. It’s time to treat yourself.
Tucked away in an L.A. landmark, Argyle salon and spa is located on the lower floors of the Sunset Tower Hotel - a five star joint. The newly renovated landmark was designed in 1929, serving as a residence for old school Hollywood royalty such as Errol Flynn, Claudette Colbert, John Wayne, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and Howard Hughes. Swanky!
After dropping off my keys to the valet I walk into the Towers, descending down the stairs for an hour long, signature custom facial. At $120-150, the prices are reasonable, certainly on par with the average spa visit. The difference is that Argyle is more luxurious, upscale and private.
Just about every celebrity you can think of has trusted the skilled hands of Argyle’s highly-trained estheticians, from AnnaLynne McCord and the “90210” crew to Ellen Barkin.
I check into a Royal Suite, which has its own full-body bath tub, separate shower room and personal restroom. An hour service comes with 30 minutes of extra room time afterward to enjoy the amenities. Quite honestly, I’ve never been exposed to this level of personal pampering. Believe me, I’ve seen my fair share of fine salons, but Argyle takes it to a new level of service. I certainly don’t consider myself a celebrity, but if you want star treatment this is the place to go.

Happy Cinco De Mayo
Happy Tuesday everyone, it's a Monday for us hairstylists. I hope everyone had as great of a weekend as I did. I actually had a day of clarity yesterday...you see I have never been able to spend the day at the beach with out having to worry about my frizzy hair going bananas, it's very hard for a girl in the summer. So I have been specializing in the Brazilian Blowout for a while now and of course I have had it done to my hair many times but it was not until yesterday that I realized that this treatment is the best thing in the whole world! Could it really be....my hair feels soooo smooth and shiny and hello FRIZZ FREE after a long day at the beach not to mention I drove home with the top down and my hair still looked GREAT!! So today, on this great Cinco De Mayo holiday, I am giving a big shout out to BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT! and encourage every women in America to have this treatment done.
